Chameleon
Chameleon's Copilot turns a goal like 'launch our new feature' into a researched brief and then a multi-experience onboarding campaign. It uses Chameleon's benchmark data to push back on tours that users tend to dismiss.
Notes
- Copilot opens on 'What are you trying to do?' with goal chips (Launch a new feature, Drive adoption of a feature, More…), a free-text prompt that can reference an existing walkthrough, an attached PDF and an @-picked audience segment.
- Its pipeline is shown as Researching → Strategizing → Creating: a 'Researched Topic' card (it uses web search on your product), a 'Strategy Brief' with objective and problem, then generated steps with Next/Dismiss buttons.
- Output includes copy, targeting rules and goal configuration across tours, modals, banners and surveys, not just a single tour.
- It is trained on Chameleon Benchmarks ('5-step tours see 78% drop-off') and is pitched as protecting users by pushing back on bad UX; CEO Pulkit Agrawal cites a 91% dismissal rate on first onboarding steps.
- Runs in strategy, create and analyze modes, so it can critique existing experiences as well as build new ones.
